Outside of work Sophie is a semi-professional flautist performing in a variety of groups across the South West. She also loves going running (sometimes with her dog in tow) and at the right time of year can be found battling it out on a hockey pitch in a local hockey league.

What does the name mean?

"Phronesis" (fro-nee-sis) is from the same Greek root as Sophia meaning wisdom.

"Phronesis" means ‘practical wisdom’. That is wisdom which has been derived from learning and evidence of practical things.

"Sophia" means 'wisdom, cleverness and skill'

It is believed that phronesis leads to breakthrough thinking & creativity and enables the individual to discern and make good judgements about what is the right thing to do in a situation. Combined with the cleverness and skill of 'Sophia' makes for a perfect combination!
